Laborer stabs brother for waking him up

TACLOBAN CITY – A 24-year-old laborer allegedly stabbed his younger brother for waking him up in Barangay Duyog, La Paz, Leyte on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

Police identified the victim as Vin, 18, also a laborer.

Investigation said Vin woke up the suspect Jun who was sleeping, resulting in a heated argument.

The argument escalated into a fistfight where the suspect took a knife and stabbed his brother in the neck. 

The victim was taken to the Burauen District Hospital in Leyte. 

The suspect fled and police are now pursuing him.

Police said suspect and the victim were drunk when the incident hapepened.
