Enstack throws support behind DTI's Tatak Pinoy Strategy

Mobile app-based store builder Enstack expressed support for the Department of Trade and Industry's (DTI) Tatak Pinoy Strategy Program to drive the growth of Filipino small and medium businesses (SMBs).

In a  statement, Macy Castillo, Enstack chief executive officer and co-founder, said the company backs the DTI's initiative, which aims to redefine Philippine industries through innovation, inclusivity, and global competitiveness.

"As the government and private sector work toward developing a structured framework for industrial transformation, we recognize the immense value the said program brings to SMBs, which form the backbone of the Philippine economy," Castillo said.

The Tatak Pinoy Strategy is a multi-year program that seeks to empower Filipino entrepreneurs by promoting sophisticated products, expanding market reach, and driving productivity.

Enstack, which has nearly 200,000 online stores on its platform, said it shares this vision by providing a direct-to-customer platform that gives Filipino SMBs full control over their businesses.

Castillo noted that Enstack's platform provides built-in payments, inventory management, and extensive delivery options, enabling sellers to reach customers across the Philippines.

"Our AI-powered e-commerce app simplifies operations such as order management, payment processing, and inventory tracking," she added. "By bridging the gap between technology and small business, we enable Filipino SMBs to thrive in local and international markets."

Through accessible onboarding, targeted training, and user-friendly tools, Enstack said it also helps entrepreneurs, especially women with limited technological knowledge, establish secure online stores.

The platform addresses risks such as cybersecurity threats and provides a reliable checkout solution, helping sellers manage payments and shipping seamlessly, Enstack said.

Castillo said Enstack is committed to promoting Philippine products and services globally and recommends closer collaboration between platforms like Enstack and government agencies to spotlight Tatak Pinoy goods in local and international marketplaces.

"By providing tools for seamless online selling and integrating features that highlight locally made goods, Enstack ensures that SMBs can expand their reach," she said.

"We propose partnerships with the DTI to organize digital trade fairs and launch campaigns spotlighting 'Proudly Filipino' products across global e-commerce platforms,” she added.
