Man beaten to death by neighbors in Cabuyao City

CABUYAO CITY, Laguna – An 18-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by his four neighbors in Purok 4, in Barangay Gulod, this city, on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 29.

Police identified the victim as Joshua.

Investigation said Joshua confronted the suspects Cevin and Jepoy because Cevin allegedly harassed his sister.

The confrontation resulted into a fistfight.

The two other suspects, Rosa and Sel, emerged from their houses armed with a wooden object and a steel pipe and attacked the victim.

Joshua was taken to the Ospital ng Cabuyao and transferred to Philippine General Hospital  on Taft Ave. on Manila where he was declared dead due to severe head injuries.

Police arrested the suspects during a follow-up operation.

The suspects face a homicide complaint.
