Four individuals were arrested for being involved in illegal gambling, possession of firearm and shabu in Pasay City on Monday, Dec. 30.

The suspects were identified as alias “Andrew,” 33, alias “Ace,” 26, alias “Wantoy,” 43 and alias “Toto,” 48. They were arrested at around 1:30 p.m. in Barangay 179, Maricaban, Pasay City.
Investigation showed members of the Pasay City Police Substation 7 were conducting mobile patrol were conducting mobile patrol when approached by a concerned citizen who told them that there is a group of individual engaged in illegal gambling along Saint Bernadette Street.
Upon arrival of the operatives, they found the suspects playing “cara y cruz."
During the arrest, the police recovered .38 caliber revolver with two ammunitions from the possession of Ace while 2.20 shabu worth P18,360 was recovered from Andrew.
Police also confiscared three one-peso coins used for the game and P700 bet money.
The suspects were detained at the Pasay City Police custodial facility and were charged for illegal gambling while Ace and Andrew face additional charges of illegal possession of firearm and shabu respectively.
