The Manila Police District (MPD) announced the official motorcade route for the highly anticipated Traslacion 2025 on January 9.
The annual procession, which marks the feast of the Black Nazarene, draws millions of devotees from across the country.
The motorcade will be accompanied by the image of the Black Nazarene and will follow a carefully planned route through key streets in Manila to ensure the smooth flow of the event and manage the expected massive crowd.
The motorcade will begin at Plaza Miranda and proceed as follows:
- Straight to Villalobos
- Right to Carlos Palanca
- Right to Plaza Lacson
- Right to Carriedo
- Left to Evangelista
- Right to Gonzalo Puyat
- Right to Quezon Blvd. Southbound
- Left to C. Palanca Ilalim
- Left to Quezon Blvd. Northbound
- Right to Arlegui
- Left to Nepomuceno
- Left to C. Aguila
- Right to Cancer
- Right to Hidalgo
- Left to Bilibid Viejo/G. Puyat
- Left to ZP de Guzman
- Right to Hidalgo
- Left to Quezon Blvd. Northbound
- Right to C. Palanca Ilalim
- Right to Villalobos
- Straight to Plaza Miranda/Evangelista.
The route has been designed to help facilitate the large numbers of devotees expected to participate, as well as ensure security and traffic management in the busy districts of Manila.
The Manila Police District advised the public to be prepared for road closures and possible traffic disruptions.
Authorities also encourage participants to follow safety protocols and respect designated pedestrian lanes to ensure the safety and smooth flow of the event.
