Volvo is expanding its lineup of fully-electric vehicles to three with the recent addition of the new EX30. The EX30 reflects Volvo’s dedication to reducing environmental impact without compromising performance or luxury. This fully electric compact SUV hopes to offer even more space for its size, thoughtful design, and industry-leading safety.

The key feature of the EX30 is its compact power. It delivers up to 272 horsepower, accelerates from 0 to 100 kph in just 5.3 seconds, and boasts a range of up to 476 kilometers per charge.

Like all Volvos, the EX30 has a Scandinavian-inspired cabin that combines minimalist elegance with functional beauty, featuring refined recycled materials and innovative technologies like a Harman Kardon sound system and Google integration.

Even its construction has a reduced carbon footprint. It is built using 25-percent recycled aluminum, 17-percent recycled steel, and 17-percent recycled plastics. The EX30 is produced in facilities powered by renewable energy.

As expected from a Volvo, the EX30 seamlessly integrates its whole safety system where Pilot Assist manages speed, distance, and steering. Working in unison, Driver Attention Monitoring detects signs of fatigue or distraction, ensuring the driver remains focused. Adding a critical layer, the Collision Avoidance System steps in to warn, brake, or steer when necessary, ensuring a cohesive system works designed to make every journey safer.

The EX30 comes with a five-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty and an eight-year or 160,000 km battery warranty, whichever comes first. Additionally, a preventative maintenance service (PMS) is offered once a year or every 10,000 km, whichever comes first. This ensures the EX30 remains well-maintained and hassle-free.

The new EX30 is priced at P2,990,000. It is now available for viewing or test drive at all authorized Volvo showrooms.
