Two drug suspects, tagged by the police as street level individuals, were arrested, while a child in conflict with the law was rescued during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Pasay City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) on Monday, Dec. 2.
The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspects, identified as alias “Angel,” 45, and alias “Ange,” 35, were arrested at around 12:30 p.m. in Barangay 171, Zone 17, Pasay City.
The police said the rescued 16 year-old boy who will be facing PD 1829 or Penalizing Obstruction of Apprehension and Prosecution of Criminal Offenders, will be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
The suspects were detained at the Pasay City Police custodial facility and were charged for illegal possession of drugs.
The police said the confiscated 15.8 grams of shabu worth P107,440 will be turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.
