Korean actor Park Min-jae passes away in China

Korean actor Park Min-jae who appeared in the drama “Korea–Khitan War,” died from cardiac arrest on Nov. 29. He was 32.

Park Min-jae (박민재) died while traveling in China. His agency, Big Title, announced his passing on Dec. 2.

"Actor Park Min-jae, a beautiful actor who loved acting and always did his best for himself, has passed away,” the agency said.

It added, “We are truly grateful for the love and interest you have shown actor Park Min-jae. Although we will no longer be able to see his acting, we will remember him and be proud of him as an actor at Big Title. We pray that the deceased may rest in peace."

The CEO of Big Title, Hwang Joo-hye, wrote, "The guy who said he would conquer China and go on a month-long trip ended up going on a very long trip. It was so sudden. Although it was a short time, I was grateful to be your representative, and I am sorry.”

The actor’s brother posted on Instagram, "Our beloved older brother has left to rest in peace. I hope that as many people as possible can see our older brother.”

His last post on Instagram was on Nov. 27.

Park Min-jae also appeared in “Little Women,” “Snap and Spark,” “Bo-ra! Deborah” and “Call It Love.”

His wake is at the Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital Funeral Hall and the funeral will be held on Dec. 4.
