PWD dies in Caloocan fire

A person with a disability (PWD) died and over 50 families were left homeless due to a fire that broke out on Sunday, Dec. 29 at 2nd Street, 4th Avenue Barangay 118, Caloocan City.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection(BFP), the fire was raised to first alarm at 2:56 a.m. and escalated to second alarm at 3:15 a.m.

The blaze was declared under control at 4:46 a.m. and was extinguished at 5:36 a.m.

According to BFP, witnesses said the victim who had difficulty in hearing returned inside his burning house and was trapped.

Probers are still determining the cause of the fire.
