Man robbed, shot dead inside bus in Davao del Norte

A 54-year-old man was robbed and killed inside a passenger bus in Carmen, Davao del Norte on Saturday, Dec. 28.

Police said the victim bound for Davao City rode the bus in Tagum City. Two men boarded the bus a kilometer away from where the victim rode. 

Upon reaching Barangay Santo Niño, one of the suspects drew a gun and shot the victim.

The suspect took the bag of the victim and disembarked with his companion.

The suspects commandeered a motorcycle and escaped.

Police are conducting a manhunt operation against the suspects.

The crime happened hours after a policeman shot and killed a security guard in Bansalan, Davao del Sur.
