Police arrested a man for possession of P183,600 worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Taguig on Dec. 28.
Members of the Taguig Police Drug Enforcement Unit conducted that operation at about 11 p.m. in Barangay Western Bicutan.
Arrested during the operation was a suspect identified as “Tangkad,” 38, who was tagged by the police as a high value individual.
The police seized 27 grams of shabu valued at P183,600, a genuine P500 bill used as buy-bust money, and three pieces of P1,000 boodle money.
The confiscated drug evidence was turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
Tangkad will be facing a complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
