The Cebuana Lhuillier tennis team continued its dominance with an emphatic 3-1 victory over Gimaca to capture the 41stPhilippine Columbian Association (PCA) Open men’s tennis team title recently in Plaza Dilao, Manila.

The Cebuana Lhuillier tennis team continued its dominance with an emphatic 3-1 victory over Gimaca to capture the 41st Philippine Columbian Association (PCA) Open men’s tennis team title recently in Plaza Dilao, Manila.
The team banked on its semis triumph over PCA_-JK Tyre, 3-1, before posting a similar output in the finals.
Seasoned player Ernie Dino, Domeng Feliciano and Remo Librodo also delivered in the 65 and above category, as well as Jackie Tomacruz, Henry Escalante, Adelo Ruado and Rolly Oliquino in the 60 and above.
Also producing impressive performances were Jean Henri Lhuillier, Gerard Maronilla, Dustin De Torres and Gilbert Estrada in the 55 and above; Derrick Santos, Tonito Payumo, Roy Tan and Noel Lontok in 50 and above; and Jon Jon Lim, Jojo Miranda and Rollyto Litang in 45 and above.
“What a great way to wrap the year. I’m so happy for the win and would like to commend the members of the team for their hard work and teamwork, which ultimately led to our victory. Their dedication and passion for the game have been truly inspiring,” said Lhuillier of the team.
“This success motivates us to aim even higher, and I’m already looking forward to defending the title again with them next year. We’re also considering competing in more tournaments to continue growing and making our mark in the tennis community,” he added.
