"Green Bones," an inspirational prison story produced by GMA Public Affairs, was named Best Picture at the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival Gabi Ng Parangal held at the Solaire Grand Ballroom in Paranaque City on Dec. 27.

GMA Public Affairs celebrated a consecutive victory after producing "Firefly," which won Best Picture at last year's MMFF.
The 10 official entries: "The Kingdom," "Topakk," "Espantaho," "And The Breadwinner Is...", "Uninvited," "Hold Me Close," "Green Bones," "Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital," "Isang Himala," and "My Future You."
Robi Domingo, Gabbi Garcia, Jasmine Curtis Smith, and Tim Yap hosted the golden edition of the annual film festival.
