High-value individual yields P378,000 shabu in Pasay

Authorities nabbed a high-value individual (HVI) and confiscated P378,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Pasay City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) on Friday, Dec. 27.

Southern Police District (SPD) Director Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena identified the suspect as “Vic,” 33, listed on the drug watch list. He was arrested at around 6:10 a.m. at the corner of Dapitan and FB Harrison Streets.

Pasay City Police Chief Col. Samuel Pabonita said the SDEU confiscated 55.6 grams of shabu from the suspect and a P1,000 bill placed on top of P35,000 boodle money, which was inside an “ang pao.”

The suspect is currently detained at the Pasay City Police SDEU Custodial Facility and is facing drug charges.
