P1.9M illegal drugs seized in Bulacan

Bulacan Police seized a total of P1,904,000 worth of illegal drugs from seven arrested suspects during the conduct of a Christmas buy-bust operation by the San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) Police Station on Dec. 24 and 25.

According to the police, a total of four sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price of P1,870,000 along with buy-bust money were confiscated during the operation in Brgy. Graceville at around 3:00 p.m. on Dec. 24 from the three suspects.

Meanwhile, separate buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Plaridel and Calumpit Police wherein four drug suspects were arrested.

Confiscated during the operation were a total of seven plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P34,000 and the buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for examination. Criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, in a separate manhunt operation conducted by tracker teams from CSJDM, two wanted individuals were arrested.
