MADDELA, Quirino – Police announced the surrender of the remaining suspect in the murder of two persons in Barangay Villa Norte here on Christmas Eve.

Police said the suspect – Tukuwhile Hudson, 24, alias Manny – turned himself in on Christmas Day in Barangay Northern Kababoan, Hingyon, Ifugao.
The Maddela police station conducted a manhunt operation in coordination with other police units in Quirino and nearby provinces against the suspect after the incident.
The Ifugao Police Provincial Office received surrender feelers from the suspect on Christmas Day and informed the Hingyon Police Station.
The Maddela police, accompanied by other Quirino police units, picked him up in Hingyon.
Witnesses identified the suspect and admitted that he shot the fatalities and wounded four others.
The suspect in the custody of the Maddela police station was charged with double murder and multiple frustrated murder on Thursday.
Police Col. Paul Gamido, Quirino police chief, vowed utmost attention to the case to ensure that justice is served to the victims and their families.
