Malabon Ahon Blue Card holders get Christmas goods from LGU

The Malabon City government recently distributed Christmas hams and 5 kilos of rice to residents a week after the release of the 4th tranche of financial aid under the Malabon Ahon Blue Card (MABC) program.

“Bilang pagtupad po sa ating ipinangakong limang ayuda ngayong 2024 ay sisimulan na natin ang pamamahagi ng Christmas ham at limang kilong bigas para sa mga mahal nating Malabueno! Happy Anniversary Malabon Ahon Blue Card! Sa pamamagitan nito, nais nating ipadama ang pagmamahalan, pagbibigayan, at pagkakaisa na tunay na diwa ng Pasko (As part of our promise to give the 5th aid this 2024, we will now be starting the distribution of Christmas ham and 5kgs of rice to our beloved Malabueños. Happy Anniversary Malabon Ahon Blue Card! With this, we in the city government wish to make our citizens feel the love, unity, and the spirit of giving during Christmas)," Mayor Jeannie Sandoval said.

Meanwhile, MEAL Office head Catherine Larracas announced that the gifts will be distributed to about 84,048 blue card holders at the Mezzanine Hallway on the 4th floor of Fisher Mall Malabon from Dec. 22, 2024 to Jan. 31, 2025. Distribution will take place daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

For his part, City Administrator Alexander Rosete also promised more exciting benefits for Blue Card holders in 2025.

The MEAL Office said there are about 65,110 MABC holders who have claimed their 4th financial aid under MABC as of Dec. 16, 2024. The distribution was held from Dec. 13 to Dec. 20.

There are 433 Malabuenos who have received burial assistance and 272 beneficiaries who claimed their hospitalization aid under the MABC.
