3 military intelligence agents killed in Lamitan City ambush

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Three military intelligence personnel were killed by armed men in an ambush in Barangay Baimbing, Lamitan City, Basilan on Monday evening, Dec. 23.

Initial report said the victims were members of the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines here.

The victims were onboard a gray Toyota HiAce van with a For Registration plate when they were shot.

They died on the spot, police said.

Police here are monitoring the incident.
