Arnel Pineda still got it, and Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co heard it with his own two ears.

The Journey front man was the guest performer at the Misibis Bay resort in Albay and according to Co, he absolutely "brought the house down".

"What a night to remember! Arnel Pineda, our global Filipino pride, brought the house down with his powerful performance last night. His incredible voice and energy reminded us why he’s celebrated around the world," Co wrote in a Facebook post Sunday, Dec. 22.

"Maraming salamat (Thank you very much), Arnel, for sharing your talent and inspiring us all. The Bicolanos are truly honored to witness your world-class artistry here in our province!" added the ranking congressman.

It was only last September when Pineda, 57 grabbed headlines after he offered to leave the band Journey.

Prior to this, the Filipino artist struggled to hit the high notes of "Don't Stop Believin" during a performance in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This caused the moment to go viral.

Needless to say, Co believes that Pineda remains a powerhouse vocalist who is among the world's best.

Pineda has been with Journey since 2007.
