JoyRide brings on-demand taxis to NAIA-3 for smoother travel

Passengers arriving at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport 3 (NAIA-3) will now have access to more transportation options following JoyRide’s launching of its Super Taxi Airport edition.

JoyRide, one of the largest transportation network companies in the Philippines, partnered with New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC) in offering the Super Taxi Airport, a metered, on-site taxi service.

Unlike traditional ride-hailing services, the Super Taxi Airport Edition eliminates the need to download apps or wait time for driver matching. JoyRide said passengers can head directly to the Super Taxi lounge located near the multi-level parking building of NAIA 3 to avail of the service.

“We’ve observed that many travelers find it frustrating to navigate ride-hailing apps after a long flight, often facing delays for driver matching. Inspired by dedicated premium airport taxi services in international hubs, the JoyRide Super Taxi Airport Edition simplifies the process—allowing passengers to secure a ride quickly and efficiently,” said JoyRide Senior Vice President for Corporate Affairs Noli Eala.

Passengers can also enjoy in-cabin entertainment and charging ports for added comfort during their trip.

“With the Super Taxi Airport Edition, we are committed to changing perceptions and proving that NAIA can deliver a world-class transport service,” Eala added.

The service operates a fleet of Toyota Veloz vehicles, designed to accommodate up to four passengers and six pieces of luggage.

NNIC has been partnering with various TNCs to provide better airport services at the NAIA terminals.

Just recently, Grab Philippines opened its first centralized ride-hailing taxi hub at NAIA 3.

“With a centralized hub and diverse transportation options, we are bringing more order and efficiency to the airport. This is part of our commitment to making travel smoother and stress-free for every passenger,” NNIC general manager Lito Alvarez said in an emailed statement.
