“We call on parents, guardians, community leaders, and stakeholders to work hand-in-hand in guiding and monitoring our youth,” said ICPO Director Police Col. Kim Legada.

The fracas involving youth groups in La Paz and Molo Districts occurred during curfew hours for minors between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m.

“The recent incidents involving minors are concerning. Addressing juvenile delinquency is a shared responsibility, and together, we can create a safer environment for our children,” added Legada.

The ICPO underscored the role of barangay and enforcing the curfew hours.

“Barangay officials and barangay Tanods are urged to conduct regular patrols and maintain close coordination with law enforcement agencies to ensure compliance,” said Police Major Shella Mae Sangrines, ICPO public information officer.
