"Ang lahat ng ginagawa natin ay para sa Diyos, sa Bayan, at sa Pamilyang Pilipino (Everything we do is for God, the country, and Filipino families)," she wrote on Facebook on Jan. 2.

In a heartening gesture during the 89th Anniversary celebration of the Office of the Vice President (OVP), Duterte led the distribution of wheelchairs to beneficiaries at the OVP Satellite Office in Zamboanga City last November.

The Vice President personally engaged with the staff and the community, highlighting the distribution of wheelchairs as a key part of the day's activities.

In her Facebook post on Thursday, Duterte emphasized the importance of providing aid to those in need.

"Nakakataba ng puso na tayo ay nakakatulong at nakapaghahatid ng serbisyo sa mga kababayan nating nangangailangan ng tulong sa pamamagitan ng ating Tanggapan (It's heartening that we are able to provide services to the people in need through the OVP)," she said.

According to Duterte, the wheelchair distribution brought joy to the recipients, particularly one beneficiary who celebrated their birthday on the same day.

"Nagkataon din na isa sa kanila ay nagdiriwang ng kaarawan kaya minarapat nating surpresahin siya sa kanyang espesyal na araw (It just so happened that one of them was celebrating their birthday so we surprised them)," she said.

Apart from the wheelchair distribution, the Vice President took the opportunity to check on the staff, expressing gratitude for their dedication.

"Kinamusta ko ang ating mga kasamahan doon at pinasalamatan sa kanilang serbisyo sa bayan (I checked on our colleagues there and thanked them for their service to the nation)," Duterte said.

Vice President Duterte said she also engaged with the local media and acknowledged their role in sharing stories with the public.

"Ako ay nagpapasalamat sa pagkakataon at panahon na makasama sila (I am thankful for the moment I spent with them)," she said.

The Vice President concluded the visit by thanking the Western Mindanao Satellite Office team for their hard work, emphasizing that all efforts are for the service of "God, the Nation, and the Filipino Family."
