Drug pusher yields P30.6-M shabu

CEBU CITY - A 29-year-old drug pusher tagged as a high-value individual was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Mandaue City on Friday night, Dec. 20.

Police recovered 4.5 kilos of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P30.6 million from Kent Kirk Calonge Ponsica, who was arrested on M. Logarta St., Barangay Subangdaku.

The City Intelligence Unit of the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) cornered the suspect after weeks of surviellance.

Police said that based on reports, Ponsica was involved in transactions with huge amount of shabu.

The suspect was arrested in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Visayas.

Appropriate charges will be filed against the suspect, police said.
