PEACE-MAKER
Our nation stands at a crossroads. We are being torn apart, not by external threats, but by internal discord. The acrimonious exchanges, heightened tensions, and political conflicts among our leaders are polarizing our country to an alarming degree. This relentless bickering is doing us more harm than good, eroding trust in our institutions, and distracting us from the pressing challenges that demand our collective attention.
The wounds inflicted, mistrust, and animosity among warring factions have run deep. Political rivalries have escalated to a point where reconciliation may seem like an impossible task. But history and experience have shown that even the most entrenched enmities can be resolved when dialogue takes precedence over hostility.
We call on our political leaders — those who hold the high positions of power and influence — to set aside personal grudges and partisan agendas for the sake of the nation. This is not about surrendering principles or condoning past wrongs but about finding common ground to move forward. The path to unity is neither easy nor straightforward, but it begins with an act of courage—sitting down at the same table, engaging in conversations, and committing to the common good.
We appeal to our leaders’ sense of patriotism. They are not just leaders of their respective groups or political parties — they are leaders of the Filipino people. The trust and hopes of millions rest upon their shoulders. With power comes a profound responsibility to serve as stewards of peace and unity, especially in times of crisis.
There are more things that unite us than divide us. As Filipinos, we share a love for our country, a desire for a better future for our children and grandchildren, and a hope for peace and prosperity for all. These are the bonds that transcend political affiliations and ideological differences.
Moreover, the issues that bind us together far outweigh those that drive us apart. Climate change, poverty, education, public health, and economic recovery are challenges that demand a united response. These are battles we cannot win as a fractured nation.
The time for political healing is now. Let us not allow our nation to be paralyzed by division and distrust. Instead, let us choose dialogue over confrontation, unity over discord, and patriotism over partisanship. Our people deserve no less.
The road to reconciliation is steep, but it is not insurmountable. It requires humility, grace, and an unwavering commitment to the greater good. It begins with our leaders, taking the first step toward healing a divided nation.

As we celebrate the season of Christmas, may the spirit of love, compassion, peace, unity, and reconciliation shine brightly in our homes and in our nation.
Christmas is a time for reflection, renewal, and healing. Let us not allow our differences in views and convictions to define who we are as Filipinos. It is time to come together and work toward a brighter future — not just for ourselves but for generations to come.
From our family to yours, we wish you a blessed Christmas and a prosperous new year.
God bless our nation.
