ILOILO CITY – The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI)-Iloilo Chapter awarded outstanding Ilonggo entrepreneurs on Thursday, Dec. 19.

Engr. Fulbert Woo, PCCI-Iloilo president, said the Ilonggo Entrepreneur Awards 2024 honored “the unyielding spirit that drives entrepreneurs to rise above the challenges and make a lasting impact.”
Emilio S. Diez of JD Bakeshop was Ilonggo Entrepreneur of the Year.
Alice Grace Ledesma-Bautista of One BPO was awarded the Young Ilonggo Entrepreneur of the Year. She also received the Innovative Entrepreneur Award.
Genecio Woo of The B Academy Ph. Inc was named Aspiring Ilonggo Entrepreneur of the Year and given the Tech-Based Entrepreneur Award.
The PCCI-Iloilo also handed out special citations.
Paul Kaldi of Paul Kaldi Coffee was given the Social Entrepreneur Award. The Creative Entrepreneur Award was granted to Cris Vinson of Primof. Arnel John Vallejo of Banwa Pens received the Non-Tech-Based Entrepreneur Award.
Awardees received a trophy designed by award-winning Ilonggo artist Marrz Capanang.
Joining Woo during the awarding ceremony at the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art (ILOMOCA) were PCCI-Iloilo Chairman Felix H. Tiu and awards chairman Jose Francisco V. Gerona.
