DPWH-Ilocos Lakbay Alalay set

The Department of Public Works and Highways-Region 1 is set to conduct the Lakbay Alalay motorist assistance program to ensure safe travel for motorists in the Ilocos region this holiday season.

Teams from the regional and district engineering offices will be deployed round-the-clock from 8 a.m. on Dec. 24 to 5 p.m. on Dec. 26 and 8 a.m. Dec. 31 to 5 p.m. Jan. 2. on the Manila North Road and primary, secondary, and tertiary roads in the Ilocos with the Land Transportation Office (LTO), Philippine National Police (PNP), and local government units.

The DPWH-Ilocos Norte First District Engineering Office will be deployed in Barangay 43, Cavit, Laoag City; Barangay Bayog, Burgos, and  Barangays Tarrag and Pancian in Pagudpud.

The DPWH-Ilocos Norte Second DEO will be ready to provide assistance in Barangay San Pablo, San Nicolas; Barangay Santa Cruz, Badoc, and Barangay Bungcag, Dingras, on the Ilocos Norte-Apayao Road.

The DPWH-Ilocos Sur First DEO can be approached in Barangay Napo, Magsingal; DPWH-Ilocos Sur First DEO Compound, Bantay, and Manila North Road, Boquig, Bantay.

The DPWH-Ilocos Sur Second DEO will be at the MNR in Tagudin and Tagudin-Cervantes Road, Barangay Calaoa-an, Candon City, and Barangay Quinarayan, Narvacan.

The DPWH-La Union First DEO will be positioned at the MNR in Barangay Camilo Osias, Balaoan; San Juan-San Gabriel Road in Barangay Cacapian, San Juan; MNR in Barangay Ili Sur, San Juan; DPWH-La Union First DEO Compound in Barangay Lingsat, and Barangay Pagdalagan Norte in the City of San Fernando.

The DPWH-La Union Second DEO will be assigned at the MNR in Barangay Central East, Bauang; MNR, Barangay San Agustin Sur, Agoo, and MNR, Barangay Subsub, Rosario.

The DPWH-Pangasinan First DEO will assist at the DEO on the Pangasinan-Zambales Road.

The DPWH-Pangasinan Second DEO will stay in Barangay Guibel, San Jacinto Section of the Mangaldan-Manaoag-Binalonan Road and  Pangasinan-Zambales Road in Barangay Manat, Binmaley.

The DPWH Pangasinan Third DEO will be at MNR, Barangay Palac-Palac, Pozorrubio; Mangaldan-Manaoag-Binalonan Road in Barangay Linmansangan; TPLEX entrance and exit in Barangay Anonas, Urdaneta City, and MNR in Barangay East, Rosales in front of the quarantine area checkpoint.

The DPWH-Pangasinan Fourth DEO will be deployed in Barangays Maningding and Tuliao, Santa Barbara, and Calasiao Junction of the Urdaneta Junction-Dagupan Road in Barangay San Miguel, Calasiao.

The DPWH-Emergency Operations Center manned by the Maintenance Division of the DPWH-Ilocos will also be tapped to assist.

The DPWH-Ilocos led by Regional Director Ronnel Tan assured that roads are well-maintained for a safe and hassle-free travel for the people.
