Kuya Kim Atienza remained a loyal Kapuso as he renewed his three-year contract with GMA Network on Dec. 2.

During a Monday media conference in Quezon City, Kim said he was grateful to the Kapuso Network for its trust.

“All I can say is I'm just honored and so humbled na kailangan niyo pa ako at this point. Ako po ay so inspired,” pahayag ni Kuya Kim.

“My stay here in GMA, I’m just having so much fun. I’m feeling so relevant, and I’m feeling so used to it in a good way for me to continue for these coming three years. I look forward to it the most.

"I know these three years will pass so fast again like the past three years, and we shall be sitting at this desk again, and I will be signing another three-year contract again,” Kim said.

Kim has also debuted his newest infotainment program. "Dami Mong Alam, Kuya Kim" which premiered on Nov. 30.

But Kuya Kim did not escape from the entertainment media when he was asked about rumors that his other Kapuso noontime variety program, "TicToClock," will replace "It's Showtime" beginning in January 2025.

"Ang alam ko ay may nangyayaring negotiation ngayon ang It's Showtime and GMA. Yun lang ang alam ko sa ngayon," said Kuya Kim.

This was the same statement made by GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, when asked about the present status of “It’s Showtime" as she officially addressed the rumors that it will be replaced by GMA variety show “TiktoClock” once the former’s contract expires this month.

“We are in the process of negotiations now for the renewal of ‘Showtime,’” said Annette in November.

"Its Showtime" premiered on GMA on April 6, 2024.
