Tingog Party-list, led by Reps. Yedda Marie Romualdez and Jude Acidre, launched new Tingog Centers in Nueva Ecija as part of its commitment to link communities to essential government services.

In collaboration with House Speaker Martin Romualdez, the opening of the new centers coincided with the distribution of financial assistance under the Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) to commemorate Bonifacio Day on Nov. 30.

“Ang araw ni Gat. Andres Bonifacio ay isang paalala sa amin, bilang mga lingkod-bayan, ng tunay na dahilan ng aming paglilingkod,” Acidre said in a statement.

(The day of Andres Bonifacio is a reminder to us, as public servants, of the true reason for our service.)

“Ang tapang at malasakit ni Bonifacio ang patuloy na nagbibigay inspirasyon sa akin at sa Tingog Party-list na maglingkod nang tapat, magtrabaho nang mas mabuti, at maging kaagapay ng bawat Pilipino sa kanilang mga pangarap, para sa mas maliwanag at magandang bukas,” he added.

(Bonifacio's courage and concern continue to inspire me and Tingog Party-list to serve faithfully, work harder, and to help every Filipino pursue their dreams, for a brighter and better tomorrow.)

In partnership with Nueva Ecija 4th district Rep. Emeng Pascual, the inauguration of the Tingog Center in Gapan benefitted 333 AKAP recipients.

The Tingog Center in Cabanatuan, which was launched in collaboration with Nueva Ecija 3rd district Board Member Jojo Matias, also provided financial aid to 333 beneficiaries.

Tingog Party-list has so far opened 157 centers nationwide.

Also on Bonifacio Day, the party-list launched its Kalusugan Karavan (Health Caravan) in Tarlac and Rizal to extend medical assistance to families in need.

Tingog likewise organized AKAP payouts at Quezon City High School and Amoranto Sports Complex to distribute financial aid to around 4,000 recipients.

“Sa bawat ngiti at pasasalamat ng mga kababayang nabigyan natin ng tulong at ayuda sa pamamagitan ng mga programa tulad ng AKAP, lalong tumitibay ang aming hangarin—na walang Pilipino ang maiiwan sa pag-asenso,” said Acidre, a deputy majority leader.

(Our desire to not leave Filipinos behind grows stronger with every smile and thanks that we get from our countrymen whom we have helped through programs like AKAP.)
