CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – A member of a gun-for-hire group tagged in the killing of two prominent online sellers from Pampanga last October was arrested in Barangay Mangga, San Isidro, Nueva Ecija on Saturday morning, Nov. 30.

Police Regional Office-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan identified the suspect as Almario Miranda, 64.
Maranan said Miranda was allegedly the middleman in the murder of Arvin and Lerma Lulu in Mexico, Pampanga on Friday, Oct. 4.
Recovered from the suspect was a 9mm caliber pistol with a magazine containing five bullets.
Magno was apprehended in his house by the San Isidro Municipal Police Station in coordination with the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company.
The suspect was nabbed through a search warrant dated Nov. 28 for violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act issued by Judge Quijano S. Laure, Executive Judge of the Gapan City, Nueva Ecija Regional Trial Court.
Maranan said the suspect’s arrest is a step towards justice for the victims.
“Ang matagumpay na operasyong ito ay patunay ng dedikasyon ng ating kapulisan sa pagbibigay hustisya sa mga biktima ng krimen. Ang pagkakahuli sa suspek ay isang mahalagang hakbang upang mapanagot ang lahat ng nasa likod ng karumal-dumal na pagpatay sa mag-asawang Lulu. Patuloy tayong magtutulungan upang wakasan ang kriminalidad sa ating rehiyon.”
