CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – The Police Regional Office-Cordillera Administrative Region seized shabu and marijuana valued at P80.9 million and arrested 27 suspected drug pushers during 89 anti-illegal drug operations conducted from Nov. 1 to 30.
Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr. said they conducted 62 marijuana eradication campaigns, nine buy-bust operations, four search warrant operations, served eight warrants of arrest, and held six police responses.
Recovered were 88.59 grams of suspected shabu, 248,280 fully grown marijuana plants, 39,300 marijuana seedlings, 242,000 grams of dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops, and 180 milliliters of marijuana oil.
Seventeen suspects were considered high-value individuals and 10 were street-level individuals.
The Benguet Police Provincial Office confiscated illegal drugs worth P51,909,708; Kalinga PPO, P19,782,160, and Mountain Province PPO, P9 million.
Peredo said these accomplishments highlight their steadfast dedication to eradicating illegal drugs and safeguarding the community in the region.
