The Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) has heightened its visibility and quick response operations to ensure public safety this holiday season.
In a statement on Wednesday, Dec. 18, Cavite PPO said it has crafted a deployment plan and assigned additional personnel to ensure round-the-clock security in high-traffic areas, including malls, churches, transport terminals, and public markets.
The provincial office has also activated 40 bike and 193 motorcycle patrollers deployed in areas inaccessible to traditional patrol vehicles.
Police Assistance Desks (PADs), meanwhile, have been set up in strategic locations.
In response to data indicating that theft and robbery incidents typically surge during the holidays, the police have intensified mobile patrols, enhanced checkpoint operations, and strengthened coordination with local government unit force multipliers.
Cavite PPO Acting Director Col. Dwight E. Alegre encouraged the public to cooperate with authorities and follow safety guidelines to help ensure a safe and peaceful holiday season.
