The arrest took place during a Christmas party celebration of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and senior citizens held at the Amana Waterpark Resort, Pandi, Bulacan.

Police officers carried out the operation with an arrest warrant issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Caloocan Branch 121 Judge Ma. Rowena Violago Alejandria.

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Brig. Gen. Anthony said that the operation serves as a strong reminder that “no one is above the law.”

He also assured the public that justice will be pursued “without fear or favor.”

The three accused were transported to the Northern Police District (NPD) - CIDG office.

Police have not disclosed the gender of the victim and indicated that more details would be released as the investigation unfolds.

Meanwhile, Roque’s camp denied the said allegations, calling them “fabricated” and “politically motivated.”

They also filed a “Motion to Quash Warrant of Arrest and Information,” arguing that the rape complaint was “false, made up, and politically motivated.”

The motion also claimed that the three accused were denied their constitutional right to due process as they had not been notified beforehand of the complaint.

The case has drawn significant public attention, with officials and citizens awaiting the outcome of the investigation.

The PNP emphasized its commitment to a fair and impartial investigation, underscoring its dedication to upholding justice and ensuring accountability for all individuals, regardless of status or position.
