9 people hurt in jeepney-truck collision in Muntinlupa

Nine people were injured when a jeepney collided with a dump truck along the busy Susana Heights Road intersection in Barangay Tunasan, Muntinlupa on Dec. 18.

Based on a report by the Muntinlupa Police through the Southern Police District (SPD), the vehicular accident happened at about 10:30 a.m. along the National Road in Muntinlupa.

The dump truck was driven by a certain Joel, 38, a resident of San Pioquinto in Malvar, Batangas.

The driver of the jeepney was identified as Mark, 21, a resident of Barangay Bayanan, Muntinlupa.

Based on the police investigation, the dump truck was turning left to Susana Heights Road from the National Road. The jeepney was turning right from Susana Heights Road.

The jeepney driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and hit the dump truck. The jeepney driver and eight passengers were injured and were taken to the Ospital ng Muntinlupa in Alabang for treatment.
