CEBU CITY – A mammoth sea creature was found dead in the sea of Banakon Island in Getafe, Bohol on Tuesday morning, Dec. 17.

The sea creature was believed to be a sperm whale or balyena.
The whale was already in a state of decomposition when residents spotted it around 9 a.m. The sea creature was found with blood ooozing out from its body.
The cause of death was not immediately determined but a team of experts was reportedly set to examine the sea creature.
Mature sperm whales average 52 feet in length and could weigh around 41 kilos. They could also plunge 2,250 meters deep.
