The 23-year-old Quiambao is excited for La Salle's campaign in Season 88 with new faces finally donning the green-and-white colors in an official UAAP game.

“Excited ako kung sa future,” said Quiambao. “[And] excited ako na nandiyan na sila Kean Baclaan, Jacob Cortez, Luis Pablo, [and] Mason Amos,” he added.

That roster, according to Quiambao, will definitely scare everyone.

“For sure they will be scary next season,” he added.

Indeed, with the departure of the back-to-back UAAP MVP, the Taft-based squad will be loaded with experience and skills transferees in Mason Amos (Ateneo), Kean Baclaan (NU) and Luis Pablo (UP).

Amos, for his part, became part of the rebuilding program of Gilas Pilipinas alongside Quiambao and other rising stars including Kai Sotto, Carl Tamayo and Dwight Ramos.

Also adding up to the strong roster of La Salle is the son of a former Archer and two-time champion Mike Cortez, Jacob, who led the San Beda Red Lions to a championship finish in NCAA Season 99.

Their presence will be a huge boost for the Topex Robinson-mentored squad with Mike Phillips confirming his service for the next season.
