State-run Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) partnered with Stern Real Estate and Development Corp. to ensure business continuity and boost economic development in Camp John Hay, Baguio City.
Stern operates the renowned Le Monet Hotel and the Filling Station food court, which have become popular tourist destinations.
“We want to assure all our partners here inside the Camp John Hay that they have nothing to fear, their condition will improve even more when they partner with BCDA and that is what we are assuring with our first partner now - Le Monet Hotel,” BCDA president and chief executive officer Joshua M. Bingcang
The partnership aims to maintain and enhance the operations of Le Monet Hotel and Filling Station, covering over 2,000 square meters of property.
Stern has committed to upgrading its leased properties to align with the John Hay Special Economic Zone Comprehensive Master Plan.
Bingcang noted that these establishments are vital to Camp John Hay's economic landscape and represent the innovative development BCDA aims to foster.
BCDA Chairperson Hilario B. Paredes added that the signing signified BCDA's dedication to ensuring a smooth transition and a harmonious business environment in John Hay.
