BOC-NAIA seizes P1.4-M worth of 'kush' in Pasay operation

Agents of the  Bureau of Customs at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA) seized around P1.4 million worth of high-grade marijuana in an operation t the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) in Pasay City.

BOC-NAIA District Collector Yasmin O. Mapa said the shipment was declared as “clothes” and originated from Thailand. 

The contraband was spotted during the X-ray screening and physical examination and Mapa said the consignee was arrested. 

The arrested consignee and the confiscated illegal drugs were turned over to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
