LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Police nabbed 51 wanted individuals in the Cordillera region from Dec. 8 to 14.
Eight individuals were most wanted persons on the provincial level and nine on the municipal level.

The Baguio City Police Office arrested 20, followed by the Benguet Police Provincial Office with 11, Ifugao PPO with eight, Apayao PPO with four, Kalinga PPO and Mountain Province PPO with three each, and Abra PPO with two.
The Police Regional Office-Cordillera said 59 municipalities in the region were crime-free throughout the week due to intensified police presence and continued collaboration with communities – 21 in Abra, 10 in Mountain Province, eight in Benguet, seven in Apayao and Ifugao, and six in Kalinga.
“This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of our police officers in ensuring the safety and security of our communities. We will continue to intensify our efforts to dismantle criminal networks and maintain peace and order in the Cordillera," said Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., PRO-Cordillera director.
