Two persons were arrested by the police for possession of shabu and a gun in Taguig on Dec. 16.
The police identified the suspects as alias Benjie, 35, tagged as a high value individual who was arrested for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Law and Firearms and Ammunition), and his cohort, identified as alias Liberty, 42, who was nabbed for violation of Republic Act 9165.

They were arrested by personnel from the Taguig Police Substation 4 who were conducting foot patrol at 11:10 a.m. in Sitio Pusawan, Barangay Ususan.
Confiscated from them were five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 22.5 grams valued at P153,000.
During a search, the police officers also recovered an improvised handgun loaded with one .45-caliber live ammunition from Benjie.
The suspects are detained at the custodial facility of the Taguig Police Station while the evidence will be turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit.
