Fireman hurt in Pasig condo blaze; fires hit homes in QC and Tondo, Manila
A fireman suffered from smoke inhalation during a fire incident at a condominium unit in Barangay Ugong, Pasig City on Sunday night, Dec. 15.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) identified the fireman as FO3 Daryl Vargas. He is now in stable condition.
Based on the incident report, the fire started at the condominium unit owned by Wenwei Wu and occupied by Zhang Tao and Li Liangchen.
The blaze started at 7:45 p.m. and was raised to the 2nd alarm at 8:27 p.m.
Firefighters declared fire out at 8:46 p.m.
Arson investigators estimated the amount of damage to property to around P1,200,000. The cause of the fire is still being determined.
In Quezon City, a fire broke out at a residential area in Santiago Street Barangay Paltok, also on Monday, Dec. 16.
According to the BFP, the fire started around 11:50 a.m. and was raised to the 1st alarm at around 11:57 a.m.
A fire also hit houses in Barangay 128, Balut, Tondo, on Monday morning.
The fire started at 8:50 a.m. and was raised to the second alarm around 9 a.m.
