'Amihan', shear line to bring cloudy skies and rains over parts of Luzon — PAGASA
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced that parts of Luzon will experience cloudy skies and isolated rains on Saturday, Dec. 14.

In its weather forecast, PAGASA said the northeast monsoon (amihan) will affect Northern and Central Luzon, while the shear line will influence the eastern section of Southern Luzon.
As a result, Quezon Province and the Bicol Region can expect cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms.
The northeast monsoon is also anticipated to bring cloudy skies with rains to Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Aurora.
In addition, the Ilocos Region, the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Central Luzon may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the "amihan."
Meanwhile, PAGASA said the easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms to Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
PAGASA also warned of potential flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms or periods of moderate to heavy rains.
