A Muntinlupa councilor passed the Bar exams that were administered by the Supreme Court in September.
‘Abogado na po ako (I am already a lawyer),” wrote Muntinlupa District 1 Councilor Alexson Diaz on Facebook.
Diaz is one of the 3,962 examinees or 37.84 percent who passed the Bar exams announced by the SC.

In Muntinlupa, Diaz is serving his second term as councilor.
Diaz thanked his family, friends and colleagues who supported him in his bid to pass the Bar exams.
“Sa aking pamilya at mga kaibigan lalo na sa aking mga magulang na patuloy na naniwala at sumuporta hanggang sa katuparan ng pangarap na ito. At sa lahat ng kasama natin sa City Government of Muntinlupa sa pamumuno ni Mayor Ruffy Biazon at sa lahat ng Muntinlupeños, maraming salamat sa inspirasyon na hatid ninyo sa akin upang marating ang tagumpay na ito (To my family and friends, especially my parents who continued to believe and support until the realization of this dream. And to all our colleagues in the City Government of Muntinlupa led by Mayor Ruffy Biazon and to all Muntinlupeños, thank you for the inspiration that you gave in order to reach this success),” said Diaz.
He promised to use his new profession to further help people in Muntinlupa.
Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon and Muntinlupa Rep. Jaime Fresnedi congratulated Diaz for his feat.
“Congrats, Konsi! Proud ang buong Muntinlupa sayo!” said Biazon.
Fresnedi wrote on Facebook, “Bilang isang kapwa abogado, labis ang aking galak na makita ang tagumpay mo. Cheers to your success, Atty. Alexson! May you continue to inspire and serve with excellence.”
