P1.22-M worth of shabu recovered from 2 drug pushers in Rizal

A total of P1,224,000 worth of illegal drugs was confiscated from two drug pushers tagged as high-value individuals (HVIs) during a buy-bust operation in Cardona, Rizal.

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) identified the suspects as “Pusoy” and “Jepoy.” They were arrested following the operation conducted by the Rizal Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Wednesday, Dec. 11.

Authorities seized 11 packets containing around 180 grams of suspected shabu and other non-drug evidence.

The suspects are currently under the custody of Cardona Municipal Police Station and are facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
