K-pop idol group ENHYPEN spent the Christmas season with their Filipino Engenes (fans), promising to achieve more goals next year.
ENHYPEN held their “DES7INED ENHYPEN | DUNKIN' Fun Meet” on Dec. 6 at the Araneta Coliseum that drew thousands of fans.
Last March, Dunkin’ Philippines revealed ENHYPEN as its new brand ambassador.
ENHYPEN’s seven members--Sunghoon, Heeseung, Sunoo, Jay, Jake, Jungwon and Ni-ki--opened the event by performing “No Doubt.” They also answered questions.

In February, ENHYPEN (엔하이픈) held their “Fate” world tour at the New Clark City Stadium in Capas, Tarlac in the country.
Hours before the Fun Meet, ENHYPEN held a press conference at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig where they talked about being Dunkin’ Philippines’ ambassador, their music and goals.
Jake said they were happy to return to the Philippines.
“It’s always good to be back in the Philippines. We just hope that the weather is amazing. We’re very happy to be here with Dunkin’,” he said.
Jungwon said they were happy to see fans at the airport and called the collaboration with Dunkin’ Philippines a “destiny.”
“Right at the moment that we arrived at the airport we were able to get a lot of cheers and love from the Engenes and we were really happy to be greeted that much and personally I love donuts as snacks and I think it's also a destiny that you know I was able to collaborate and work with Dunkin for this opportunity,” he said.

He added, “And also communicating with my fans, Engenes, on stage and doing the performance with them, I think that connection would be a destiny as well.”
Jay said they prepared new performances for the Fun Meet.
“First of all we're so glad and honored to make this Fun Meet with Dunkin’ and we're also so excited to meet our Engenes in the Philippines again in person. Yeah, we prepared some new performance that we have never done before in the Philippines so I believe that you will love it,” he said.
On the event being sold out, Sunghoon said, “First of all, thanks to the warm greetings and the support from our fans that we were able to celebrate this year and party with our Engenes and for this opportunity. And also we will do our best and perform in our best shape so that we can actually celebrate with joy with our Engenes tonight.”

Heeseung also talked about being trendsetters and their similarity with Dunkin’.
“One similarity that I could say with us and Dunkin’, just like how Dunkin’ tries to innovate new taste, new stimulations to the audience and consumers, that’s also one fact that we look forward to, that we consider doing our music. Though we are in different industries, I think those are the factors that we can call ourselves trendsetters,” he said.
Ni-ki as the brand ambassador of Dunkin’ Philippines, they “actually hope that we will be remembered as an ambassador who gives happiness to the audience and the consumers. And also, I hope our Engenes, our fans, could actually enjoy tonight's fun meet as well”
When asked which Dunkin’ product they would like to create for themselves, Jake said, “Maybe having a special kind of flavored drink. We all like to drink and we’re just having Dunkin’ coffee just before and I thought maybe having like a special flavor of drinks.”
Sunoo said, “I love Choco Bang donuts very much.”
ENHYPEN also talked about their new album “‘Romance: Untold-Daydream.” which was released in November.
“‘Romance: Untold-Daydream’ is a continuing album from the previous one, which is ‘Romance : Untold.’ I think it touches on the basic concept and it's continuing the story line from our ‘Romance’ album,” said Jake.
He added, “As you know, we put out two new songs, which are ‘Daydream’ and ‘No Doubt’ and they both are something that we haven't tried before and the style of the songs, both very new to us so It was a really nice new challenge to us as a group. I think through this album, we were able to open vision towards new styles and new music so I think through this album, we will be be able to explore more types of music so I think a very good album in that way.”

Heeseung said they have set new goals for 2025.
“First of all, there were a lot of goals that we set for the previous years. Thank you so much, Engenes, for allowing us to achieve those goals. We have a lot of goals set for next year, and we will do our best to accomplish them one by one, step by step. And we actually do have, though the date is not specified, we have Coachella being prepared and we have a lot of big stages being prepared for the next coming year as well so I hope you could look forward to it so that we could give good impressions to our Engenes once again,” he said.
ENHYPEN debuted in November 2020 and celebrated their fourth anniversary last month.
“So for the four years, you know, I could not actually imagine coming this far and achieving these achievements without our Engenes. And also because of our hardworking members, we were able to make a great team as we are now. We have a lot of things that we want to achieve in the future as well so I hope you you could stay tuned and look forward to it,” said Jungwon.
