Get ready to be electrified! The FEU Tech’s Artist Connection are bringing “Defiance II”, an inter-school dance competition, back to the stage on February 23, 2025 at the FEU Institute of Technology Gymnasium!

 

Since its founding in 2004, the FEU Tech’s Artist Connection (AC) has been the heart of the university’s cultural and artistic expression. Created to nurture and spotlight the various talents of the FEU Tech community, AC serves as a platform where students can hone their artistic skills and evolve their individuality through art, providing endless opportunities and experiences for its artists to build their gifts. Through the years of representing the university in numerous cultural events, AC has become a symbol of artistic excellence on campus and beyond. This year, the AC aims to continue their tradition of excellence and share their platform by hosting an event that empowers dancers to rise above challenges and reach their full potential. 

 

Defiance is an inter-school dance competition that was conceptualized to “Defy the Odds”. It’s not just a competition; it’s a movement. It’s an exhibition that challenges individuals to defy expectations and overcome adversity. This much-anticipated event promises to showcase exceptional dance performances from various competing schools, uniting the community through the universal language of movement. 

 

This year, DEFIANCE II continues its mission of fostering growth and excellence in the dance community. It encourages participants to push beyond their limits, build camaraderie, and redefine dance. The dance competition welcomes all dance crews of Basic Education (Junior High School and/or Senior High School) and Tertiary Education from different campuses. The event promises exciting prizes totalling up to PHP 100,000! Beyond the prizes, DEFIANCE II offers an invaluable opportunity for dancers to showcase their passion on a grand stage.

 

Whether you’re part of a dance group, an aspiring performer, or simply a lover of dance, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
