ILOILO CITY – Police seized suspected shabu valued at more than P2 million from two drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in Pavia town, Iloilo province on Dec. 11.

The Pavia Municipal Police Station-Drug Enforcement Team identified the suspects as Manong and his live-in partner Ann. Recovered from them was 300 grams of shabu.
The 49-year-old Manong is believed to be a remnant of the dismantled Previndido Drug Group.
Manong allegedly sources his contraband from Iloilo City distributes this in Pavia and neighboring towns.
The Iloilo Police Provincial Office lauded the Pavia MPS as well as backup units Iloilo Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit of the Police Regional Office-6.
“The success of these operations is attributed to the collaboration between the police and local communities, emphasizing the importance of public support in the fight against illegal drugs,” said IPPO Director Police Col. Bayani Razalan.
