P730,000 worth of illegal drugs seized in QC anti-illegal drugs ops

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) seized a total of P730, 200 worth of shabu in four anti-illegal drugs operations on Tuesday, Dec.10.
According to the police report, six drug suspects were nabbed in the operations.
Suspects were identified as Paulo Jackson Polangcos, 40, and Jowardski Gonzales, 31 both residents of Barangay Barangka, Marikina were arrested on Dec. 10, in front of Northview Subdivision, Brgy. Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
During the operation, an undercover police officer acted as a poseur buyer and bought P200.00 worth of shabu from suspect Polangcos which led to the arrest of the suspects.
Police recovered from the suspects were 60 grams of shabu worth P408,000, one motorcycle, cellular phone, belt bag, and buy-bust money.
Another suspect, Philip Delatorre Peñano, 33, of Project 6, Quezon City was nabbed on Monday, Dec. 9, after a police poseur-buyer bought P2,000 worth of marijuana.
Confiscated from Peñano were 1,478 grams of Marijuana worth P177,360, seven grams of kush worth P100,500, 65 grams of marijuana leaves valued at P2,600, and five vape pen containing marijuana oil worth P7,500 with a total amount of P287,960.
Authorities also arrested three drug suspects in various operations by different police stations which resulted in the confiscation of P34,240 worth of illegal drugs.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
