Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar announced that the City Health Office (CHO) will conduct free influenza vaccinations for the elderly starting on Dec. 17 to 20.
Aguilar said the immunization program aims to ensure the protection of the city's senior citizens against the disease.
Since December is part of the "flu season," the CHO posted its visiting hours and dates on the city's Public Information Office Facebook page.
She urged all senior citizens in Las Piñas to visit their nearest health centers to register and avail of the vaccination.
