Las Piñas LGU offers 10% discount to real property tax payers

The city government of Las Piñas is offering a 10 percent discount to real property owners who will be paying their annual real property taxes (RPT) from Dec. 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025.

Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar encouraged tax payers to take advantage of the discount in paying their RPT in full or through quarterly installments.

Aguilar said property owners may pay via the Las Piñas Smart City mobile app where they can input the tax declaration number and property identification number or PIN and select their mode of payment.

She said the city government launched the app to help taxpayers, ensure their safety, and allow payments to be made in the comfort of their homes.

The mayor also appealed to the new real property owners in the city to register their records with city hall so they will be able to receive official notices and pay the correct taxes on time.

Aguilar added that the taxpayers’ lounge at the city hall has been renovated and offers free coffee, juice, and Wi-Fi access to taxpayers. A priority lane is also in place for senior citizens.
