After a subpar showing in the first two games, the Filipino gold laner was untouchable in the last two contests highlighted by a eye-popping 19-0-5 KDA in Game 3 – the most kills ever recorded in history of the M-series World Championship.

As if that was not enough Innocent followed it up with an equally impressive 13-0-1 KDA in the series clinching Game 4 to help the hosts arrange a lower bracket semifinals against Russia’s Team Spirit.

Innocent’s Game 3 performance surpassed the previous kill record coincidentally set by his RRQ counterpart Schevenko “Skylar” Tendean who recorded 17 kills back in the M4 Worlds in 2022.

SRG actually drew first blood in the series with a come-from-behind 14-12 victory before RRQ Hoshi retaliated with a 19-8 win to tie the series, 1-1.

With the Indonesian Kings of Kings, however, threatening against SRG, Innocent, a two-time MPL Malaysia regular season MVP and one-time Finals MVP, simply took over for the team and scored kills after kills on his Granger, highlighted by a huge Maniac at the 17th-minute mark of Game 3.

With the Filipino leading the onslaught, SRG took the series lead with a 25-9 win with Innocent registering a whopping 96-percent kill participation.

There was no stopping Innocent’s rampage from there as he also scored the last five kills for SRG, a triple kill on the final siege and a double kill in RRQ’s base defense to cap their dominant performance, 19-8.

Meanwhile, SRG’s opponent, Team Spirit scored a 3-1 victory against Myanmar’s Falcon Esports to set up the lower bracket clash. The winner of their match will then face the loser of the upper bracket finals collision between Philippines’ Fnatic Onic and Indonesia’s Team Liquid.
